lights. camera. no action.

when my mom was staying with us a few weeks ago, i think i accused her of being the paparazzi during abigail's first ride in the stroller. we ended up with over 2o pictures -not that she is being very photogenic in any of them. i guess i developed a little stalker syndrome myself, because i spent the last two days trying to take pictures and video of abigail smiling. but she is quite the stinker when it comes to photo opps (see picture on left). next to her is her beloved rattle we've affectionately dubbed "shaky the snaky," even though he is a caterpillar. what rhymes with caterpillar anyway? even shaky couldn't keep her from crying when the camera flashed. however, we had a little more luck yesterday (see photo below) and even caught a couple clips of her grinning.
